Regarding the use and precautions of weights, our teachers also taught you when you were in school, but did you really learn in the actual operation, and do you know how to operate it correctly? Now we can revisit the taboo actions that should be paid attention to in the use of weights. I hope it can be helpful to everyone.
The formal use requirements of weighing weights:
①The weight box is placed on the table on the right side of the balance and cannot be held in your hand.
②You must use the weight tweezers to change the weights in sequence according to the magnitude. Use the tweezers to clamp the neck of the weights. It is strictly forbidden to take the weights directly with your hands.
③The weight shall not be placed in other places except in the weight box and on the balance pan. When not in use, put it back into the cavity of the weight box (including tweezers) and close the box cover at any time to prevent dust from falling in.
④The weights and balances are verified together. At the same time, the masses of the silicon weights in the same weight box maintain a certain proportional relationship with each other. Therefore, the weights in different weight boxes cannot be interchanged.
⑤The principle of "minimum number of weights" should be followed in weighing.
⑥The weights should be placed lightly in the center of the weighing pan, with the large weights in the center and small weights around the large weights. Do not put them on their sides or stack them together.
⑦The weighing result should be recorded according to the weight cavity in the weight box (two weights with the same indication value should be distinguished by *), and then the weights should be placed in the order from largest to smallest from the weighing pan. Remove the code and put it back in the box directly, and check it with the original record at the same time to avoid errors. At the same time, check whether the weights in the box are intact.
⑧When using a mechanical code adding device, do not point the arrow between the two readings. The index plate can be rotated in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction, but it must not be rotated with force to avoid deformation of the laps, overlapping each other, and the laps from being unhooked.
